During this trip, you would have a chance to observe a bear, have some fishing and climb some mountains or volcanoes. The trip goes through tundra-forest among birches, cedars and willow trees. Beautiful vastnesses, valleys and all this in front of mountains impress anybody who gets there. Usually visitors get especially impressed by waterfalls falling from the rocks.
Not a fast horse speed allows you to enjoy all the beauty on the way, including mountains, waterfalls, rare animals and plants. On your way, you may meet some bears and observe them from a safety distance. Crossing the rivers and bypasses is the longest part of the trip, however, it stays an unforgettable experience of the way passed.
A great view on Ichinsky volcano vanquishes with its beauty. It glints sun when covered with snow and gets a smoke “hat” in the murky weather. Mix of green plants, blue skies and snow makes this view an incredible. 14 DAYS ITINERARY Day 1 Meeting at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Meeting with a town.
Day 2 Moving to Esso, Central Kamchatka (600km, 9 hours), through Sokoch, Milkovo settlements. Placement at a hotel, swimming in the thermal pool. Rest.
Day 3 Getting started at 10 o’clock. From Esso way goes along Bistraya river. Two times crossing the river. Three and a half hours duration before first stop . Rest two hours. Tea. Moving three more hours crossing small streams. First park in “Vasiliy Kirilovich” place around yurtas. At 18 o’clock set up a camp. Supper. Total distance is 25 km.
Day 4 Living the camp at 10 o’clock. Riding up along Bistraya river — 15km. Two hours rest. Tea. Bypass 10 km between hills along Okura river. Bypass Okura and arrive in the territory of Ichinsky preservation. Set up a camp at 8 o’clock. Total distance is 25 km.
Day 5 Crossing Bistraya-Hairuzovaya river and find yourself on the wide area: rocks with eagles flying around on the left side, mountains and valleys on the right, and Ichnsky volcano straight. The bypass takes 4 hours (20 km). There is a big house on the foothill with bath. After a break you can climb mountain Zabitya (takes 3.5 hours) from which you can have a great view on all beauty around.
Day 6 Rest on the foothill of Ichinsky volcano. Trips on demand.
Day 7 Departure at 9 o’clock. Passing by a waterfall and moving through the forest to Ketachan river valley. Rest 2 hours on the way. Tea. At 20 o’clock stay on night in the hunter house. An eight km trip to lake and some fishing on demand.
Day 8 Departure at 10 o’clock. Riding from Ketachan through “wet tundra”. Arriving in Aga stream where having a rest 2 hours. Tea. Moving down to Kopilyo river and riding along it to Aginsky goldmines. At 20 o’clock staying for night in the neglected settlement. 40 km distance.
Day 9 One day rest. Sightseeing.
Day 10 Departure at 10. Passing geologic settlement Viun. Passing bypass Marina to Bistraya river. Setting up a camp. Supper. Distance is 35 km.
Day 11 Departure at 10. Going down Bistraya river. 18 o’clock setting up a camp in “Vasiliy Kirilovich” place. Supper. Total is 30 km.
Day 12 Departure at 10. Riding to Esso. Crossing river two times. Arrival at 18 o’clock. Total 25 km. Night in Esso’s hotel.
Day 13 Moving to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Rest and night in the hotel.
